Explore science through art and other fun activities in this awesome day camp.
All classes include snack and water bottle
Monday: Pop, Crackle, and Fizz!– Chemical reactions are fun! This class will safely explore some of the super messy ones you don’t want to try at home. We’ll drop mentos into soda, make volcanoes, and more!
Tuesday: The Science of Art/Art of Science- Einstein was an advocate for the science and art connection. We’ll discuss his views and what makes science beautiful and art scientific. We’ll dive into color mixtures, water resistance over crayon, and more!
Wednesday: Crystals– We will spend this day not only making our own crystals, but seeing how they react under different conditions- including watercolor paint over salt!
Thursday: Weather Whimsy- Rain, sleet, snow, sun, clouds- weather is mysterious and fun. We’ll work on projects that teach us about weather and how to enjoy and measure it!
Friday: Polymer Fun & Chemistry Chaos – Flubber, Super Happy Fun Balls- these are some of my favorite polymers! We’ll be making some of each to bring home and dive into the wonderful world of chemistry!
